Neutral light always on?

My Neutral light is always on. Even when riding in L or D, the N light is always lit. It was this way when I bought it. I was able to fix my fuel gauge with help from this forum, so lets see if I can fix this other problem.

Have any idea what could be the cause?

There's a switch called the neutral safety switch it's just a bolt in switch on the crankcase. That may be your problem.
