I am about 15 minutes into this Matt Walsh mini documentary on the demise of rock music. I have heard Rick Beato get into the subject before, and Matt put some Rick Beato in here. I was born in 1962, and my first concert was Van Halen in 1978 when I was 15.

| Are you like me? Have you struggled to find a great Les Paul? |

I don’t have an exact number on the amount of Les Paul’s I’ve owned. Non custom shop. Maybe 5? Custom Shop R8’s. 5 as well I believe. Some honeymoon periods were a little longer. Some extremely brief.
I love the SOUND of Les Paul’s on my favorite records.

In my parts box, I have a pair of Mini Humbuckers and a pair of the rare Gibson P90S pickups. So, I thought I’d get another Les Paul to put them in.
I already own a goldtop 50’s Standard. But I came across another just like it in tobacco burst.

Playing hot humbucker guitars into a multi watt dual rectifier and looking for a pedal for the clean channel (lonestar inspired cleans). I run a barber direct drive into this channel for a mid grain marshally crunch and LOVE it, then use my 2 high gain amp channels for all out distortion.
