| So what's up with "what's the weight" |

There's something going on with the high end used guitar market. Every message starts with "what's the weight". Now I'm taking about vintage Les Pauls, in particular 54 reissue. This is a mahogany not maple capped custom, what would you expect it to weigh.

When you were young, there was really only a few generations of things
- 70's was current, 60's was the prior gen, and the 50's was classic rock. Actually, the first rock & roll. Maybe..
But today...a teen's options look like this:
- 2020's is current
- 2010 rock/pop is the last generation

Mythos just sent email out to their list noting that they are transitioning away from using dealers and going to a small batch direct buy model instead.
They've been one of my favorite builders for a while now.

| Alnico vs ceramic pickups, a little shocked at myself? |

I'll admit, I'm a bit of a "cork sniffer" when it comes to certain things, and guitar pickups are one of those things. I've got 7 guitars, mostly Telecasters, and not a single one has stock pickups.... they're all "upgrades" (to me) in terms of what I know I like.
