Before adding in your additional thoughts, I would appreciate if you quote and address the points I make below. I've posted something similar in the past and most recently in the Big Time thread. Haven't gotten anyone to say yet if there's flaws in my logic.

The stock PUPs (57 Classic Neck/Classic Plus bridge) in my 2009 LP Traditional just aren't cutting it for me anymore. I have considered putting a set of Throbaks in it, but a set costs about half of what the guitar is probably worth.

Couple of weeks ago I had 9 or 10 guitars and my mission was to get down to just these two. Finally sold the last one last night so at this moment, I just have these two, a couple of Ishibashi Fender FSR models I brought back from Japan last year.

I’m cleaning up one of my Gibsons with Gibson pump polish and breath - nothing that ought to damage the finish at all - and one of these lines showed up.
This isn’t the first time I’ve seen it (had it on an old Les Paul and other Nitro guitars).
