The International Cryptozoology Museum will be exhibiting the original "replacement" model of the Minnesota Iceman at our Museum from July 2015 through the end of December 2015. This rare item from 1969 is on loan from the Museum of the Weird, Austin, Texas. It will be monitored by enhanced staffing and newly installed security equipment.
As an extension of this display, we will be curating at least one, if not more, exhibition cases on the cryptozoological life of Bernard Heuvelmans, with a special emphasis on the Minnesota Iceman, also known as Homo pongoides.
We are putting a call out to you for the temporary loan from the private collection of materials – especially any three-dimensional artifacts from Heuvelmans's investigative life - that we could borrow for this exhibition. We have plenty of books and papers of Heuvelmans's, so, instead, we are asking for help in locating and temporarily obtaining larger items from you. Or letting us know who might possess such pieces.
Thank you very much for your assistance,
Loren
