Subject: MEETING REMINDER: Homestead Art Club Meeting and Demonstration: Color Mixing

HOMESTEAD ART CLUB presents a Color Mixing Demonstration by Mary Dee Burkhart, at 2:00P.M., Saturday, April 16, 2011. The location is the historic Lily Lawrence Bow Library, 212 NW 1st Street, Homestead,  courtesy of  Ruth Campbell, Museum Director.  The demonstration by Mary Dee, professional artist and teacher,  is the second in a series. The focus is bright, intense color: how to get it, use it, and modify it.  Acrylic paints are used in this demonstration, but the color ideas presented apply to all the arts as well as real life.  The demonstration is free and open to the public.
