to Homeschooling
My opinion on homeschooling: I'm fifteen. I think homeschooling is a
much better way of teaching for many reasons, for one, when you
homeschool, the schedule fits you rather than the whole class, and
when you have more time to learn the things you’re interested in, it
helps you to have a happier perspective for learning. especially not
having to think about getting the next quiz right (which you’re likely
to forget by the time your twenty years old anyway) and also helps to
have a more productive attitude for learning. one thing people ask me
is, “what about socialism?” what about it? it’s not like you can
really “socialize” in school, you’re just with a bunch of people who
are all focused on the teacher. And the only times you can talk with
someone is at lunch, or recess. Also, school is to help people to be
prepared for the real world, but they don’t give students enough
experience for it, except for maybe a field trip every now and then. I
want to become a scriptwriter and with homeschooling, I’ve been able
to spend hours writing scripts on my computer, which you couldn’t do
in a school.
