I started homeschooling my son nine months ago. Although I am not in Michigan I have been using the state curricula from Maryland along with the National Curricula from Finland. Maryland ranks the best public school system within the United States, and Finland ranks #1 in Science and Math with Japan and China a close second.

I decided to mix the best of each so my son gets the best education. Right now he is only five years old but he is on 1st and 2nd grade material. He can read and write in two different languages (both English and Arabic) along with learning Physics and Chemistry.

I have also been teaching my son to use the Cornell Method for note taking along with sketch noting to help him memorize each of the topics. So far he is doing wonderfully. If anyone needs help or advice please let me know.

Dear One
What is Cornell Method?
The problem with my child is that he does not want to write.
How do I get him interested in writing.
Regards
