To member incharge of maintenance,
Today (25th April 2020) I went to check on my car at around 7 30 A. M. As I approached my car parked in the basement, I found that my car cover was teared apart and somebody or something had ripped out the antenna of my car. Upon further inquiry, the security incharge at gate no.1 told me that there is no security guard for the basement at night, when the incident most probably took place. He further added that this must be the work of some animal, most probably a cat on the loose.
This entire ordeal raises some pertinent questions, the first of which is that shouldn’t there be a security guard for the basement at night? Another question is whether this scenario will continue, should the lockdown be extended?
As you can see from photos attached, such damage cannot happen within seconds. It takes much time to cause such damage by an animal.
Since the entire experience speaks for itself with regards to the sub-standard security provided by the management, will the management reimburse the person suffering because of the ordeal? Further, what steps would the management like to take to prevent such incidents in future?
Looking forward to hearing from the management,
Regards,
