Streaming over Internet

It would be amazing if you could stream over the net, but of course there is no way to access the HDhomerun over the net because of broadcast ports etc. If the transcoding server also took care of channel changes optionally problem would be solved, assuming you could force the media port which should be pretty easy.

That is totally doable and sounds awesome. There are higher priorities for me right now on the app so it may be awhile til I get time to work on that. Thanks for the suggestion!

Would it work to connect the app to the streaming port over the Internet if I manually changed channels?
