Android Client - Sorry, this video cannot be played... message.

I have it setup with the HDHomeRunStreamServer, Windows 7 64bit with VLC 2.0.6 64 bit. I can stream directly to the device, but when I choose to use the HDHomeRunStreamServer no matter what player I use I get Sorry, this video cannot be played. I can see the stream being opened on my PC and the transcoding appears to begin on the PC side but nothing on the phone. Samsung GS3 running CarbonROM 1.3. Tried MXPlayer, DicePlayer, and the default Video Player, same results.

Any luck on this? I am having the same exact problem on an GS2, and the stream server is running on Win Server 2012.

This was broken after VLC 2.0.8. If you install 2.0.8 it should work again. I'm still trying to figure out a fix for versions after 2.0.8

John, Paul said that he's trying it with 2.0.6 - which is before 2.0.8, not after. I tried it with 2.0.8, 64-bit, and 64-bit HDHRSS, on Win 7 64. I get the same issue - works direct, but not when trying through the HDHRSS. It connects, sees turners, loads my player (MX) and then errors out.

Are there any settings in VLC that we need to configure?
