Hello,

I would like to request the ability to set the hd homerun device ip manually instead of having the app detect the hd homerun device. I would like to move my hd homerun to a different subnet but still use the android application.

Since you are talking about the HDHR device itself (as long as I am understanding correctly), I would say this is a feature request for Silicon Labs, not for HomeRun TV or the ability to transcode the video. In any case, I have set mine up so it initially got an IP address DHCP and then reserved a static IP for that MAC address on the router. I do have an older HDHR, but it should work for newer ones if you cannot set the IP address manually.

From JNC (I am not sure why this did not show up): What I mean is once you launch the android app have the option to manually type in the IP of the hd homerun device vs having it detecting the hd homerun device. A good use case if if you have the hd homerun device on a different broadcast domain. Does that make sense?

Yes, that completely makes sense. I have not used the Android app yet as I am not sure I can. I was first trying to transcode the video, but have not seen that happen yet for my old HDHR-US (I have another thread about that).
