I installed the HomerunTV App for my Android phone. I select us-cable and
run my channel scan. It starts off saying 0/158, which seems odd because I have 700+ channels.

I followed the App instructions and rescanned the channels on my HDhomerun box and then tried it again on my app. Guess what, nothing. Once again all the channels show up as (0) zero in the list and then if you click any of them, it tries to start a feed for Channel 2.

This app blows!!!! Any way to download a channel listing and just use the
restore function?

Anybody got a fix for this missing channel line up issue with the app?

Hi,

Sorry it hasn't worked out so well so far. I assume that you're using an HDhomerun Prime device with a cablecard installed? If that is the case did you see any messages about your cablecard not being setup properly? The app gets its channel listing, when the cablecard is setup properly, from this site:

http://<your hdhomerun device ip>/lineup.xml?show=unprotected

with <your hdhomerun device ip> replaced with the ip address of your hdhomerun prime device.

Also, only unprotected (so most likely no premium channels) can be viewed using the app.

Let me know if that helps!

John:

Yeah I got some message about my cablecard not being setup properly, but
that said, I've used it without issue from
non-Android devices/media players accessing my HDhomerun Prime without
issue. So what;'s the deal?

Here is my "unprotected" line up using your URL:

This XML file does not appear to have any style information associated with
it. The document tree is shown below.

<Lineup><Program><GuideNumber>3</GuideNumber><GuideName>CW-WDCW</GuideName></Program><Program><GuideNumber>4</GuideNumber><GuideName>WRC</GuideName></Program><Program><GuideNumber>5</GuideNumber><GuideName>WTTG</GuideName></Program><Program><GuideNumber>6</GuideNumber><GuideName>MY-WDCA</GuideName></Program><Program><GuideNumber>7</GuideNumber><GuideName>WJLA</GuideName></Program>

.
.
.
. and so on....

All I know is after I run the scan, I get the App saying everything is
channel 0 in the listing and then if I click
anything, it says I'm viewing Channel 2, which just remains blank with no
feed. There is nothing about all the
other channels in the line up.
