I just received a call from Mike Illg, the community schools
director. It turns out we've been playing on a closed field. All of
the school fields are owned by the Kenai Peninsula Borough, and we
were supposed to contact Mike before playing. He was cool though, and
said he'd contact the borough to see if we can use the field. Another
possibility is Paul Banks Elementary, although I'm not sure how large
the field is. ALSO the field needs a port a potty in order for people
to use it. What an ass pain...

But oh well. The bottom line is, for now, we cannot play on west
homer field. I'll keep you updated though; maybe something will work
out before monday. Thanks guys.
