Hello!

I am using AtlasViewer to coregister my subject specific MRI data and my digitized optode positions. Now I would like to use the sensitivity map resulting from the MC simulation (Adot.mat) for my further analyses. For 15 subjects everything works fine but for one subject basically all entries in Adot.mat have the same value close to zero (2.2204e-16). There was no error or warning while running the MC simulation or while generating the sensitivity map.
I've rerun everything (coregistration etc.) twice but nothing changed. To me, the data looks fine and I do not see any difference to the other subjects.
Did anyone else have experienced something like this? Any hint what the reason could be and how I could fix this?

Thanks and kind regards,
Franziska

That is curious. I am
Glad it works fine for 15 of the 16 subjects.

My first guess would be that something went wrong in the registration of the probe to that one subject. Check all the steps. In the end, make sure the optode positions are lying in the surface of the head.

Can you view the optode locations on the scalp?
Can you project their positions to the cortex and get their corresponding MNI coordinates?

Thanks for your answer.
I would say that the projection of the optodes to the head surface looks good. Eine time ago, I mentioned in another issue that it is not possible, at least not for my subject specific MRIs, to project the channels to the cortex. I checked the code and it seems that the toolbox does not create labels, however, as far as I understood it the function works only with labels. I adapted a copy of that function in order to perform the projection without labels outside of Atlas Viewer and that works for all subjects.

Hi Franziska,

Would you be willing to share your adapted code? or guide me to which code you adapted to obtain the projections?

Thank you!
Shannon
