Dear
HOMER Users and Developers,
As many of us know, HOMER's glorious UI has been starting to show signs of it's age, and despite still being able to do the job a few years from its inception from a user perspective, it leaves a lot to be desired for those wanting to extend and improve upon it.
This is why we've been secretly working on a complete redesign of the webHomer component towards a new and modern framework, which will hopefully enable everyone to enjoy a new exciting look and many new customizable features we're implementing to improve and simplify user experience as well as development standards and cycles.
If you're working on extending the current user interface, you might want to hold back your engines or contact us ahead of investing time, many of the features you seek are likely already present and/or ready to be molded in. We'll assemble a dedicated workgroup soon, those with UI and Web development background (particularly angular skills *cough*) wishing to spare a hand are invited and welcome to step forward anytime - The new interface will be presented by our team alongside many other project updates at KamailioWorld 2015!
As per always, feel free to contact us at
sup...@sipcapture.org with any questions or suggestions, and feel free to share your ideas and must-have features for the new HOMER user-interface in this thread.
Thanks everyone & Have a great weekend!
Regards,
Lorenzo Mangani
