I periodically get a timeout or " Server Error
Either the Macromedia application server(s) are unreachable or none of
them has a mapping to process this request."

I hope all is well there!

Hey,
I'm confused; are you getting this on the homeportals.net website or on a homeportals application on your own server?

Great - the sites look to be back online.

Is there any chance you have a video or step-by-step tutorial of
putting together a simple web site using ColdBricks with a few
modules, templates? I must admit I haven't gotten very far after
setting up the package on my system.

We have a lot of home-grown CFML that displays company financial data,
charts, etc. and I'd like to move them into the HomePortals/ColdBricks
framework.

Sure, that's something I've been planning to do for a while. I'll try to put up at least a couple of short videos this weekend.

In the meantime I'll be glad to help you if you have any questions
