The 19th Annual Homelessness Marathon will air tonight, Thursday the 19th, from
7 - 11 p.m. Eastern time. This is the night before the inauguration.
We will be talking with a wide variety of poor and homeless people and among
many other things, we will be asking them, "What do you want to tell the new
president?" Needless to say, you will hear these voices nowhere else.

People ask me all the time what our broadcast has accomplished. I tell them
that, despite the combined efforts of all the homeless advocates in the United
States for the past thirty years, things have only gotten worse and worse. We
have to keep trying anyway.
