Do you want to learn how to build home power systems? There are many
factors that make it necessary for us to start generating our own
electricity at home. Some of these factors include the rise of
electricity bills, depleting natural resources and global warming.
1. Do It Yourself Building Home Power Systems Guides
One great solution that I have found is to build my own wind and solar
energy system at home. The instructions I used were found in an online
downloaded guide accompanied by step by step video tutorials.
2. Using Wind Home Power Systems
To harness free wind energy, your house area should have moderate to
strong winds regularly. This system may be affected by seasonal
changes, and is not applicable in areas where the wind speed is too
low.
3. Using Solar Home Power Systems
This is also a seasonal energy system, and can be very powerful in
areas with strong sunlight. It has also been known to generate
excessive electricity for their owners that can be sold back to the
utility company for a profit.
4. Which Power System Should You Build, Solar or Wind?
In most conditions, you should look to build a combination of the 2
systems if possible for more versatility. Both can be used to
supplement each other, and have proved to be very effective in
generating home made power for me. For example, the solar system works
really well during summer but not for the wind turbine since wind
speed is low. On the other hand, wind is very strong in winter and
there is insufficient sunlight for the season.
