It is a good question. The question of such standards came up when we
discussed the Low Voltage Mains concept in an earlier post here. My
conclusion was that it is best *not* to expect *any* standards but
rather allow for adapter leads and converters as needed. Not ideal but
it seems that it will always be that way.

Well, as mentioned in Mikes podcast, RJ45 seems to be favorite.

Interesting to see it used in other applications, see below for RJ45
use in a makerbot.
