...has an extremely simple DSB transmitter/receiver for 80M that I'd
like to try building. It even calls for a carbon mic!! I can try to
scan the article if need be.

The circuit in the article utilizes a ceramic resonator, what values
exist that would be good frequencies on 80/75m?

My present antenna as it sits now pulls in WAY too much noise on 80 to
be usable, I've got a plan in the works to try and mitigate that
problem.

I don't know what's going on at 3.68 but that's one of the resonator frequencies that's on 75 Meters. The problem w/ 75 is there's usually a net plonked down on whatever frequency one selects!

I'm not subscribed to Sprat (my bad). Can you describe the circuit?

I've invented a device that automatically whacks my carbon mic. at regular intervals to keep it going!

Its a pretty minimalist ne602/lm386 thing, I'll try to get the article
scanned, pdf'd and posted this evening.

Hey, are you still interested in that Ameco transmitter? I'm selling
junk at TRW for CERTAIN this Saturday. ;)

I've been too wiped out in the evenings to get it scanned. Will try on
Sunday perhaps.
