The Role
WebUI development team is responsible for the user interface to all The products from the Network Engineering department.  We are currently big fans of Ruby on Rails and Chaplin.  Experience with that and related test tools will help You fit in with us.  We are building out our testing environment and are looking  For some help managing a lab full of detection appliances and a suite of unit-level Tests for them. 

 
Responsibilities

 The candidate will be responsible for development, maintenance, and support Of our unit test lab and the testing methods and processes used in the lab.

 The candidate will be working with all detection appliances in the test Lab as well as associated Linux environments that host lab maintenance and test  Scripts.

 In addition, the candidate will be responsible to support the development team In creation of new unit tests and maintenance of existing unit tests under the Guidance of a senior staff member of the team.  

 The candidate will be Responsible for documenting product defects discovered by the testing process In Jira and helping developers resolve those issues by reproducing cases as Necessary.

Requirements

 BSCS or equivalent + 5 years' experience or MSCS + 3 years' experience

 Ruby on Rails, Casperjs, and RSpec or close equivalents.

 Ability and passion to build new automation tools in Ruby script.

 Strong problem solving skills needed.

 Linux command line and scripting language experience.

 Must work well in a demanding, fast-paced team environment

Additional Qualifications

 Experience using network security and prevention tools 

 Experience in areas of anti-virus, intrusion detection, deep packet inspection, 

 Firewall/UTM, vulnerability testing, malware analysis, or security .

 Networking/system administration

 Experience with Jenkins and Expect script
