Role:  Web services Tester 

Location – Scottsdale AZ 

Duration: 6 – 12 months 

 

Job Description:

Minimum three years experience as a Web Services test analyst.  Strong knowledge of testing methodology's to include Agile, Waterfall, Iterative. 

The test analyst role is responsible for planning and execution of functional tests and analysis to ensure that all application products and services meet organizational standards and end-user requirements. 

Associates are expected to perform test planning, test design, test execution and defect documentation tasks.         

Job Duties & Responsibilities     

•Analyzes and reviews requirements and technical work products      

•Executes tasks defined as part of test plans, strategies, results reporting and metrics   

•Designs and executes test scenarios/scripts     

•Manages test data as input into test execution     

•Validates test results and records defects     

•Coordinates and plans test runs and calendars     

•Maps requirements to test assets and results      

•Research, prioritizes, defines and manages defect reporting and resolution     

•Validates that environment components are installed in the appropriate testing environment    

•Minimum three years experience as a test analyst with database testing knowledge   

•Strong knowledge of XML messaging     

•Strong knowledge of SQL     

•Working knowledge of Quality Center     

•Strong knowledge of web services and the necessary testing techniques    

•Strong communication skills     

•Able to demonstrate knowledge of soapUI as a testing tool

Knowledge and use the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) methodologies - Required 

Expert Knowledge Organizational Skills - Required

Expert Knowledge Test Planning and Estimation -Required 

Working Knowledge Test Design - Required 

In-depth Knowledge Test Execution -Required 

In-depth Knowledge Test Tools – Quality Center -Highly desired 

Working Knowledge Test Tools - soapUI -Required 

In-depth Knowledge Experience in testing integrated systems -Highly desired 

In-depth Knowledge Experience in testing XML messages -Highly desired
