Growing in Ossett

Hi Everyone,

 

We have been given the go ahead to develop new community growing plots and a growing group at the War Memorial Community Centre in Ossett.

 

We are planning to launch the group by having a seed sowing session where anyone can come along and have a go at planting different seeds and taking away their own seed tray(s).

 

The session will be on Friday 4th March probably from 10.00am til about 1.00 pm (more info nearer the time).

 

We will have plots marked out and will be taking registrations from those interested in the community centre plots or any of the other plots available around Horbury and the surrounding areas.

 

Anyone wanting to get involved with the Ossett group or able to help out with the planning or on the day or anyone who has spare seeds, seed trays, compost etc they could offer then please get in touch.
