I've been growing starts for the last 8 years for Home Grown Food Starter Barter and Foothills Unitarian Church. I have some extra starts ready to go into the ground.

Large starts are $2, smaller starts $1, cash.

9 small Italian Flat Leaf Parsley


Marconi Red
A delicious, sweet, Italian style pepper used for roasting and frying. Fruits are 6 to 8" long and go from green to red at maurity. Use wherever red bell peppers are called for. 75 days.

Minature Chocolate Bell
Sweet pepper where fruits ripen to deep brown and grow to 2 inches. Plants are stocky and short. 90 days. 

Red Bell
Red, sweet pepper has three-lobed fruit, tapers to a blunt end with medium thick walls and distinct flavor. Yellow-green when small, red as it matures. Stores well. 70 days. 

Ancho / Pablano
Called Pablano in fresh green form, and Ancho as a dried pod. Used for chiles rellenos and mole saudes. One of the most popular chiles in Mexico.  80 days. 1,000 – 2,000 Scoville Heat Units.

Early Jalapeno Pepper
Hot 3-inch sausage-shaped peppers mature early. The thick walled fruits ripen from dark green to dark red on a sturdy, bushy 2' plant. 4,000 to 6,500 Scoville units of heat. Early Jalapeno is known to set fruits in cooler conditions than other jalapenos. Open pollinated. 75 days. 2500 - 8000 Scoville  Heat Units.

Odessa Market
Heirloom pepper from Odessa on the Black sea in the Ukraine. Dependably ses 7-12 fruits per plant. These are crisp, jicy, thick walled and tasty. Sweet and full textured whether enjoyed raw, auteed or roasted. Good leaf cover reduces sunscald and protects from frost. Free of blossom end rot. 87 days.

Amish Paste
Delicious, juicy, meaty paste tomato, excellent for sauce or fresh eating. Larger and better than Roma. Strong producer of heart-shaped fruits up to 8 oz. Thick bright-red flesh. Flavor is well-balanced, tending toward tartness. 85 days.

Better Boy
High yields of smooth, large, tasty tomatoes. Vigorous vines produce until frost. A highly adaptable variety that thrives in nearly any climate. Demonstrates excellent disease resistance. plump, juicy, deep red tomatoes that often weigh more than one pound. 75 days. Hybrid.

Parsley, Italian Flat Leaf
Often called Italian parsley, this parsley has large, flat leaves with concentrated flavor for fresh seasoning, drying, or freezing. Flat-leaf parsley has a more pronounced, robust flavor, while the curly variety is associated with decoration. Full of vitamins, nutrients and anti-oxidants, parsley is an underappreciated super-food to incorporate into your healthy diet. Freshens the breath too! 75 days
