Hello lurkers,

The code: https://github.com/home-climate-control/dz/tree/milestone14 - using zigbee2mqtt as a gateway. Will be merged into https://github.com/home-climate-control/dz/tree/reactive as soon as it is considered stable. Will NOT be backported to the imperative tree.

Hardware this code is being tested on:
  • https://www.amazon.com/dp/B09KXTCMSC - SONOFF ZBDongle-P - interestingly enough, missing from zigbee2mqtt database, but works nevertheless;
  • https://www.zigbee2mqtt.io/devices/SNZB-02.html - temperature and humidity sensor, you want to set reporting configuration for something like (1, 60, 5) so it is agile enough;
  • https://www.zigbee2mqtt.io/devices/E1C-NB7.html - metering outlet; by no means endorsing it, just got a 2 pack for R&D - but will pound them heavily when this code base is polished, winter is coming and using electric heaters is more economical for me than running the heat pump due to house geometry. I was actually looking for a SONOFF metering switch, but it looks like they don't manufacture them, so I had to get this one.
Suggestions for sensor and switch hardware (in particular, 3 or 4 relay boards to control HVAC units directly) are welcome.
