Hello,
I do not know if this is related but there was a firmware update for my wemo switches.  After that one quit showing up in HA and then the opposite happened, it quit showing up and the other did.  Now neither are there.

I tried various things and eventually just backed up a couple of files, deleted home-assistant and did a re-install (today).  HA is searching for my switches but it is not adding them.

I went back to the instructions you gave me using the example.py.

I'm not really understanding whether they are found or not so I am posting a link to the output.

They still work with the Wemo app on my phone.

Probable cause for not being able to find Wemos anymore after a firmware upgrade is that they have updated their description.xml file so that it no longer matches the search parameters that our NetDisco discovery package uses for Wemo. NetDisco currently looks for an ST file that is equal to urn:Belkin:service:manufacture:1

Figure out from the list that you send which ip address is your wemo. If it is there open the xml link and scan the contents.

So I grabbed my Wemo Insight switch from the shelf where it was collecting dust and plugged it in. Upgraded firmware twice and now Home Assistant does indeed not find it anymore :).

It seems like Wemo has stopped responding to SSDP discovery requests with an ST value of ssdp:all and only responds to ST value equal upnp:rootdevice. This is weird because the second is supposed to be a subset of the first according to the spec (see ST on page 19)…

Pushed a fix to the dev branch.
