I hope this letter finds you in an enlightened spirit and good health. You may have been wondering why I was out of touch from you lately. Well, the funny thing I was so preoccupied with myself watching an epic franchise ‘‘HOME ALONE” on Netflix during these holidays. Trust me, that movie was as funny as a barrel of monkeys and as scary as a 3 am bathroom tour.

Let me give you some lofty details of the movie. The movie revolves around a kid named Kevin who is left home alone with all the hilarious dangers lying ahead of him. It’s really worth watching and I still couldn’t figure how the time slipped by. I remember one particular segment that still gives me a chill of fear even to think about it. It was about an eight-year-old boy who was on the streets of New York alone and all he could see was darkness everywhere. There were tall trees behind and before him and he could sense the feeling of foreboding. He could hear the squeak of a broken branch and screeching of owls. His mind was blank and just then, he sees the most horrible women surrounded by pigeons, coming towards him. Now obviously Kevin screamed out and felt as scared as a rabbit in a wolf's den despite trying best to act bravely. But it turns out that the pigeon lady was actually a really kind-hearted and helpful woman who appears to save him from strangers with cruel intentions by sending out pigeons to attack them. Appearances can really be deceiving. After that, Kevin being a brainy kid, lit up the fireworks in the sky that somehow notified the cops. They immediately arrived at the spot and arrested the bad guys. I wonder who puts these ideas in Kevin’s head in times of crisis. I can feel myself being eaten up with hatred for Kevin's quick on spot accurate decisions.
I think so I have given you a lot of sensory detail to entail curiosity inside you. By the way, what’s the fun of staying home apart from the fact that you can dance like crazy, sing aloud, eat junk, watch junk and there is no one to judge you with cool indifference. But the movie ‘Home Alone’ is just more than all this.
