Holy Trinity’s New Mission Statement:
Serving Communities Boldly, Loving All as Christ
April 1/2 Update
Attendance: 289
Weekly Budget Need: $19,812

For more financial information, please check the bulletin board in the hallway outside the administrative door and the Council ministry station in the fellowship hall.
From the Pastor:
So why is Holy Week so important?
1) Lent is coming to an end.
2) Spring break is over. It is time to consider spiritual issues.
3) Most important--God is at work in our lives.
I am sure we can consider other reasons why Holy Week is important, but considering how God has worked in our lives makes it worthwhile for me. Through the experience of Holy Week, we hear the story of human failure. But we also hear the story of God's salvation and God's power over sin and death. Christ is not only active in history, but the Christ of history is living in our lives today.
Easter has not yet arrived. We experience the power of the passion story, and all of that begins this weekend in our worship together. Plan to be with us at our regular worship times. And, yes, have a great Holy Week!
Peace in Christ,
Pastor Scott
Thirty Easter lilies are available to purchase to adorn the sanctuary for Easter. They can be dedicated in honor or memory of a loved one can be taken home following the 11am Easter service. The cost is $10 and the deadline to purchase is this Sunday, April 9. Please see the order form attached.
Just a reminder: The upper driveway will be closed this Sunday to allow for the Palm Sunday procession.
Please remember to return the Lenten coin folder in its envelope any time during this season.
"40 Days of Giving"
We are excited to be part of the ELCA’s emphasis on World Hunger and having several options to participate is always nice. We are asking our families to give one dollar a day for 40 days. If 250 of our members or family units give just 1 dollar a day for 40 days we can raise $10,000! WOW! It's remarkable what can be done when we all work together!
Other ways you can get involved:
Pink pig banks are on a ministry table in the Fellowship Hall, another way you can be involved, and you can give $30.00 to buy a big for a family in a third world country and help them get out of poverty.
We will also have a small group focusing on “40 Days of Hunger” that will meet each Sunday through Lent. Who would guess that doing so little could make such a difference? It will absolutely change peoples’ lives!

WORSHIP COORDINATORS NEEDED
We are in immediate need of worship coordinators for the 11 a.m. service on Sunday mornings. This person needs to be in the sacristy area around 30 minutes prior to the service to be sure all of the worship servants for the service arrive and are robed and prepared for the service. Once everyone is in place, the worship coordinator is done for that Sunday. If we have several worship coordinators, we can alternate months which makes it easier for all. We could also use additional 8:30 worship coordinators so they can alternate also. Please consider if this would be an easy way for you to serve here at Holy Trinity.
Did you know that you can now donate to Holy Trinity through our website? Click on "Giving" at the top of the page, then press the "Donate" button.
Simply Giving, another simple and convenient way to give.
Consider signing up for
electronic giving. Holy Trinity relies
on the financial support of the congregation and electronic giving offers an
easy way to give on a recurring basis.
Please contact the church office for details. Thank you!
Collections: Youth collect aluminum cans. Please place rinsed cans in Aluminum bin in the parking lot but please put the tabs in the Ronald McDonald collection in the library.
