Why did Hriday treat Sri Ramakrishna so badly

A small observation on Bharatbhai's post. Thakur is quoted verbatim somewhere in the Kathamrita as saying that it was one "Chandra Haldar of Kalighat" who pushed Him around with the butt of his shoes. (Chandra Haldar is described as being "close" to Mathur Babu but it is not recorded whether he was a priest of Kalighat or at Mathur Babu's house). In fact, the Master was poked so brutally by this wretched man that the His body got black abrasions and bruises as per the Master's own admission. Many people were of the view that the matter should be reported to Mathur Babu but the Master persuaded them not to do so. If I remember correctly this particular conversation took place between the Master and Dr. Sarkar, his physician at Shyampukur. Dr. Sarkar in fact goes on to suggest that people should learn the act of "forgiving" from this incident.
As regards the Hriday issue, the Master has admitted in the Kathamrita that whilst Hriday gave Him no end of trouble to the extent that He was almost on the verge of committing suicide by jumping into the Ganges, at the same time it was only due to Hriday's loving care and personal attention that the Master survived his tough Sadhana and the ailments (mainly gastric)he patiently underwent during that period. In that sense we should all be thankful for the great pains taken by Hriday to protect our Master. What is known is that Hriday incurred the wrath of the Dakshineswar authorities for stealthily worshipping the daughter of Mathur Babu's relative (KUMARI PUJA)and was duly expelled from the premises forthwith.(Normally, Kumari Puja is done on Brhamin girls whereas Mathur Babu and his descendants belonged to a low caste called Kaivartya and Hriday's action was taken as an ill-omen). In fact, Hriday was not even allowed to enter the premises in future and it is recorded in the Kathamrita that the Master used to go all the way up to the front Main Gate to meet Hriday when he came to meet him on a couple of occasions. The Master has further admitted that the the removal of Hriday from the scene of "action" at Dakshineswar was perhaps the handiwork of the Divine Mother so as to encourage many more people to come and meet the Master more freely - something which Hriday was preventing for whatever reason or was charging money to let people meet the Master.
