One cannot progress in the spiritual world without sincere devotion and faith in the Guru. Never doubt or disbelieve the words of the Guru; know them to be as sacred as the words of the Vedas or scriptures. If you want to realise Truth, try to follow implicitly the advice of the Guru. Know that you have no other such well -wisher as your Guru, either here or hereafter. Steadfastly following the path that he has pointed out to you is rendering him true Seva, or service. That pleases him the most.
