Facing Change in Life – 02
Q: Taking it to a personal level, Mataji, how did you face the big changes in your life coming to Sydney from Trivandrum in 1982 to start Sarada Math’s first Centre outside India - a big jump personally and organisationally, a tremendous responsibility – and then 30 years later, returning to Trivandrum from Sydney, taking leave of the Centre you developed from scratch, taking leave of so many people so attached to you and so saddened to see you leave – two very big, dare I say, emotionally challenging changes.
MATAJI: Before moving to a new atmosphere I never pictured as to what I would be facing. I kept my heart wide enough, good enough to accept whatever came. There was an ideal: I was doing the work of Sri Ramakrishna and the Ramakrishna Order as faithfully and in the best way possible as I could. So I could not expect anything I was just to accept everything.
Most Revered Ajayaprana Mataji…
