There was only one occasion when the author felt that he had perhaps lost Maharaj's love. The author decided to run away from the Math and hide himself forever. Thus resolved, the author went next morning to prostrate before Maharaj, and silently take leave of him. Maharaj asked: ' Do you think you can run away from me? The mother holds the child on her lap and the child cries: Mother, mother!' His words soothed my burning heart. Then he said: ' Our love is so deep that we do not let you know how much we love you.'
