A bare, white-washed wall does not attract us. When there are colours on it, it is attractive. The colour is really damaging the beauty of the wall - soiling it. It is the soiling of the wall which is creating beauty there. That is how life is. If everything is going smooth, then life becomes dull and boring. That is why when everything is alright, people want to go on an excursion or a tour or pilgrimage.
