When the British ridiculed us saying that we are image worshippers, as a young girl, I felt very hurt. I didn’t understand the significance of the word ‘image worship.’ I knew there is some great significance in it. Later on I realised, yes, we are proud to be image worshippers. Why? Because we carry God in our heart. Just as I cannot see my own face but have to project it in the mirror so also, I have to project the Lord in my heart onto an image in a temple, mosque or church and then look at Him and take Him back.
