That regeneration will not take place unless the shaving off happens before. So this will come like a wave and a dip, a wave and a dip because, ‘even as love crowns you so shall he crucify you!’ Both will come together. His love will come and embrace you, at the same time He will crucify you. I tell people that God does two things at the same time – a slap on the cheek and a pat on the back. The trouble is that we don’t remember the pat on the back, we remember only the slap on the cheek.
