Power of the Name – 14
Once I had to go to a school in Sydney as a part of an Interfaith team to represent Hinduism. After I finished my talk, there was question & answers session. Theory-learned university boys and girls were there. Then one boy stood up and asked, “You say there is reincarnation, we will be born again, when will we?” I was very happy to hear that. The boy had been thinking about that. He did not want to disbelieve. He did not want to say it is wrong. I said, “Well, Dionysius, a European mystic, said that life is like a fountain. It rises from a reservoir, travels and then comes back to the reservoir. We came from God. We will go on and on gaining experience till we reach God.” The boy a gave a big smile. How much he understood, I don’t know. Anyway, he was satisfied for the time. We are all looking for perfection. St Antony looked for God everywhere and finally felt him in his heart.
