Then the wonder of wonders is that there are these huge cliffs on four sides but the water never fills the area in between. Because at the other end there are holes.  The water, when first it came down, it burrowed and burrowed and found a way to travel. Then for about three miles we don't see the river, it flows beneath the ground level, under the cliffs, and then it falls down like a great waterfall.
