The guru knows what is to be given.

परिप्रश्नेन – repeatedly questioning the teacher and one’s own mind. Only the intelligent can lead a successful spiritual life. That is important. For that, you have to think whatever advice is given by the teacher.  When you think, you get doubts and you ask. The whole of the Bhagavad Gita is a dialogue. If we read the Bhagavad Gita properly, we will find Sri Krishna starts telling something in answer to Arjuna’s question.
