What we can learn from the Older generation–20
Everyone who has tried to climb the Everest has not been able to reach there but there is joy in the adventure, in saying ‘I tried’. There is joy in trying, in attempting. Everyone who participates in the Olympics does not get the prize. Only one can get the first prize. But there is joy in participating, in competing. Simply because we did not reach the goal, do not bring down the goal. Let the goal be as high as possible. Keep a high goal as your target and then work towards that. In Malayalam there is a saying which means we do half, God does the other half. Divine help will come but we have to do the first half.
