Dear All,

As per the wish of non-Bengali devotees, I translated the blessings given by the revered swamis of the Ramakrishna Order. You have to tally the writings with the picture numbers.

07. Na magi sundor kaay, Arthe mon nahi dhay: I don’t want beautiful body, mind does not run towards money

Bhog shukhe chit roto noy: mind is not engrossed in the pleasures of the world

Ishwar e bor din, ‘shustho thaki chirodin: May Ishwara grant me the boon of good health forever

Jyano mor dhorme moti rohe’.: let my mind be attracted to dharma

Byadhihin kalebor, shuddho moti nirontor, : disease-free body and ceaseless purity of mind

Hole aar abhab ki aachhe? : if one gets [all these], what else is needed?

Shukhete shomoy jabe, dhoni ki e shukh pabe; : one will remain in happiness; can the rich get such happiness?

13. kaaj karmer chap-e dhyan jop hoyna - onekei mone kore bote – kintu ta noy. Shorbodai tⁿahake mone rakhar chesta kora bishesh proyojon. Oboshyo kaaj kormo-o tⁿari, ebong tateo tⁿari smaran manan hoy. It is difficult to practice meditation and japa due to work pressure – indeed some think like this. But that is not the case. There is absolute need to remember Him always. But it is also true that work too is His only; and through this also smarana-manana is possible. [My note: Thakur told Bankim Chandra Chattopadhyay on 6-12-84: “Ishwar vostu aar shob avostu.” meaning “God alone is real and all else illusory.”]
