“But O Krishna, when you were doing that you were playing a trick on us. When you pointed me out to Arjuna you looked at me and you drew all the life energy from me. You pretended to be pointing out to Arjuna all the people arrayed in front on the ‘enemy’ side but actually you were drawing the life energies of all of us!” That is why Sri Krishna could say, “मयैवैते निहता: पूर्वमेव निमित्तमात्रं भव सव्यसाचिन् || (11.33)” They have already been killed by me. Now Arjuna, just for a show you fight. Let people think that you have killed them and then you will get fame and name… To get that you have to work, you are a warrior, so fight.
