Sri Sarada Ashram is a spiritually oriented service center run by 45 well-educated Sanyasin sisters who have dedicated their life for social service on the lines of vision of Swami Vivekananda.
I have seen their advertisements for donations in the magazines published by Sri Ramakrishna Math, and have interacted with them few times.
They do services in fields of education for poor village girls, medical aid, professional training, village development (Irrigation, farming etc ), spiritual preaching etc.
The Ashram runs in the village of Edaikkal, near Uludurpet in Tamil Nadu. They have earned very good respect and cooperation in the surrounding villages and the communities living there, because of their service to those people over 25 years in times of distress and need.
