Guru Purnima – 04

 

Sometimes the guru accepts the disciple. Sometimes, looking at the face, the guru understands the disciple is not yet ready to receive knowledge. So he will be asked to come later… Guru is so important in Hinduism. We think guru is Brahma, Vishnu and Maheswara - all the three come within the guru. Above all the three deities, the ultimate reality also is guru. To that guru we bow down. That is the stature in which guru is held in Hinduism.
