Obstacles in Spiritual Life – 15
Nature is unpredictable. Changes are happening rapidly everywhere. You cannot foresee what will come next. Destruction is happening - it is Adhidaivikamm. In such cases we have to have a sense of control and go along with nature. Often animals can foresee a storm approaching. When I was in the Trivandrum Centre (before leaving for Sydney), one day I was sitting in the verandah outside. Dark clouds filled the sky and there was thunder and strong wind. Then I heard the cry of cows from the Ashram cowshed. They were all crying. Then I said, “The animals are disturbed, I think we are going to have heavy rain and stormy weather.”
