Obstacles in Spiritual Life – 14

 

I told the people with me, “We are in heaven. Just think of that devastation.” There were some superstitious stories connected with that. It was said that an old woman was seen that night, running here and there saying, “My children will be carried away by the ocean (Kadalamma).” People thought she was a mad woman, but later they believed it was Kadalamma herself who had come to warn. These are natural causes - Adhidaivikamm. One is helpless in such situations. Even now that heart breaking scenes are still in my mind.
