Religion and Suffering – 24
People go from Australia, the southern end of the globe to Alaska, the northern end of North America. Here in the South Pole, there is the same ice and snow as in the North Pole, Alaska, but they go diagonally across to Alaska and feel happy. It is because we don’t know how to enjoy peace. We want challenges but when challenges come we don’t know how to handle them. But a religious person knows that things will not remain the same, he is prepared to face challenges. That is the difference between a religious person and an ordinary person.
