Once Swami Ranganathanandaji called the person who had scolded some devotees in the temple and that the devotees had complained to the President of the Order. He questioned the person whether it was true or not. The person explained to him, in detail, all that had happened. After hearing everything Rev. Maharaj took out a paper in which the following poem was written:
Speak gently By David Bates
Speak gently; it is better far to rule by love than fear
Speak gently; let no harsh words mar
The good we might do here.
