There was a devotee, Ms. Ula, who painted beautiful pictures of Sri Ramakrishna, Holy Mother and many gods and goddess. She came from Finland where you don’t see the sun for three months of the year, even at noon you need a lamp! For another three months, even at midnight the sun does not set. When she came to Australia she said, “Oh! How beautiful Australia is! 12 hours day and 12 hours night!” I could not understand why she was ecstatic because I was born in Kerala and we are used to it, it’s a common thing. Only when there is an absence of comfort, do we understand the value of comfort. God is very intelligent. He has given us misery so that we can enjoy our comforts and experience it fully.
