PATHWAY TO PEACE AND FREEDOM - 17
Sir Winston Churchill was a very good soldier as a young man. He was in charge of a small contingent of soldiers during World War I. Suddenly one day he received a message from his Commander to present himself before him the next morning. His group had camped far away from the Commander’s tent so he asked his men to remain there while he was away. The whole night he rode horseback and by morning he reached his Commander’s camp. He sent word that he had come. The reply came ‘wait’.
